Rural Healthcare Resiliency Program
The Rural Healthcare Resiliency Program is a Tennessee-based initiative, funded through the Tennessee Department of Health, to improve healthcare access and outcomes to rural and underserved communities.
Our Goals
- strengthen mental health and substance use prevention across rural counties
- provide trauma-informed support
- provide resource referrals
- host community wellness events to connect families to the care they need
- reduce stigma through education and outreach
- bridge critical gaps in care
Led by The Center for Family Development, in collaboration with community partners, the Rural Healthcare Resiliency Program intends to bring lasting impact, hope and healing to rural communities across the region.
Counties Served
Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Perry and Wayne.
Funded by the Tennessee Department of Health, our trusted Community Care Navigators connect families to vital resources, reduce stigma, and bring education directly into rural communities through pop-up events, partnerships, and local outreach. It’s about building trust, saving lives, and making support accessible, right where people live.
